Enquanto Bleach chega ao décimo ano de publicação na tremendona Shonen Jump, o Gorillaz comemora dez anos do lançamento do seu auto-intitulado álbum de estreia. Para juntar as duas festas e atrair mais convidados, o mangaká criador de Bleach Tite Kubo, publicou no site da EMI:
“The impact from “Clint Eastwood” still lingers 10 years on. In the same year I started to draw my current work, Gorillaz released the 1st album. For these 10 years, Gorillaz have remained very special to me. They will continue to do so for the next 10. Before the next 10 years begin, I need to listen to this album. Thanks Gorillaz. All the best for the next 10 years. Tite Kubo”
